A recent visit to a hill station inspired me to come up with this design for a cottage.

This design is ideal for guest houses, outhouses, second-homes, restaurants, and rejuvenation centres.
Dimensions of the cottage
Total area: 650 sq. ft.
Hall: 11 ft x 14 ft
Sit-out (near entrance): 7 ft x 14 ft
Bedroom: 11 ft x 10 ft
Kitchen: 10 ft x 8 ft
Dining-cum-sit-out (left side): 14 ft x 8 ft
The entire cottage sits on iron or concrete pillars at an elevation of 8 ft from ground level. The area between the pillars can be used for parking vehicles or converted into a garden.
The cottage can be built within 20 days at a budget of Rs. 10 lakhs, which includes construction, electrical, plumbing, and interiors. The cottage has a durability of 20 years and more.
